This project included the design and construct of water supply network infrastructure that supplies 100% disinfected water to customers in the Naracoorte area, as part of SA Water’s Country Water Quality Improvement Program (CWQIP). SA Water undertook the concept design, and then Fulton Hogan completed a detail design before carrying out the water supply upgrade system, construction of transfer main, disinfection upgrade works at the storage tank, and Bore 9 decommissioning works. Fulton Hogan’s scope included:

• Trenching and installation of pipework
• Pipeline boring
• Link-ins to main Naracoorte tank
• Hydrostatic testing
• Flushing and disinfection of transfer main
• Town bore connections, and bore decommissioning
• Replacement of the old chlorine dosing system
• Construction, installation, and connection of new chlorine huts

• New tank hatch and rails
