Wellington Traffic Management On Covid Testing Front Line

A few words can mean a whole lot. Wellington City Council’s Transport and Infrastructure Manager Brad Singh has written to Fulton Hogan about the traffic management team’s role in setting up Covid testing stations in the Capital. Brad generously said we could share this more widely.

“Thank you for your efforts to make things work in such a short space of time… we could never have done this without your hard work.

This is an example of how we are working better together for the benefit of our city and our communities. As we continue to navigate our way through this new normal caused by COVID we will come across a number of days and issues where we need to respond quickly and decisively with no prior warning (like today). I for one am glad that even in these hard times, we have a partner like you to lean on…

Thank you again, from myself, my team and the entire city of Wellington.”

Pictured is Fulton Hogan’s James Sheppard at the Taranaki Covid testing centre shortly after the team set up the area.  They have also established testing areas in Hataitai and at Te Papa.
