City of Port Phillip Civil Infrastructure Maintenance
Fulton Hogan has been providing maintenance and construction services to the City of Port Phillip Council for 21 years. The repeated renewals of the contracts are a testament to Fulton Hogan’s performance and relationship with the City of Port Phillip. The current contract involves routine and preventative maintenance and capital works delivery on over 260km of local and arterial road network.
In addition, the team also continues to successfully manage the traffic for high-profile events and festivals including the Australian Grand Prix (10 years) and the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
The success of this contract can be attributed to the strong relationships with the Council, as well as the surrounding community who provide invaluable knowledge about the area. Like many maintenance contracts, this ‘local area knowledge’ when used in conjunction with historical and collected data provides key insights into how to do good work.
