For the second consecutive year, Fulton Hogan has participated in Run Melbourne, raising funds for The Cure Brain Cancer Foundation. On Friday, the hard work of almost 150 Fulton Hogan staff and family was recognised when we presented a cheque for $44,000 to Matthew Browne, Acting CEO of The Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.

Domenic De-Fazio, General Manager for Southern Construction said; “This brings our total donation to the Foundation to over $77,000 and is in the memory of former Fulton Hogan General Manager, Bruce Rowell, who passed away from the disease back in 2012. We are extremely proud to be associated with The Cure Brain Cancer Foundation and plans are already underway for fundraising and participation in next year’s Run Melbourne event.”

“Brain Cancer is the biggest killer of children of any disease in Australia and the biggest cancer killer of adults under 40 in Australia,” explained Matthew Browne. “As the primary advocacy group for brain cancer in Australia, The Cure Brain Cancer Foundation’s job is to raise awareness and funds for research, so we can find treatments and eventually a cure for this disease.”
