Fulton Hogan leads the way with eight CCNZ finalists

30 June 2025:

Congratulations to our eight finalists in the 2025 CCNZ National Awards. We are delighted with this outcome – following a record total of nine in 2024 – and the rare achievement of having two finalists in each of three categories this year.

In the ‘heavyweight division’ – Projects over $100M – is both the Waimea Community Dam (shown here during nightworks, with the dam face behind) and Te Ahu a Turanga: Manawatū Tararua Highway (an alliance with NZTA, HEB, Aurecon, WSP and five iwi partners).

In the Excellence in the Maintenance of Assets category is Auckland Systems Management network (an alliance with NZTA and HEB) and the Hasting District Council 3 Waters Maintenance team. And in the Emerging Leader Award category is Fulton Hogan’s Auckland Airport Contracts Manager, Josh Wilkinson, and Bay of Plenty Project Engineer, Darcy Gallagher.

Rounding out the eight is our Civil division’s Te Mārua Water Treatment Plant Optimisation project (Projects $20M to $100M) in Wellington and the Masterton District Council/EcoReef® flood recovery (Projects up to $2M).

We look forward to the awards night at the CCNZ Conference in Tauranga on 24 July – always a great occasion!
