Fulton Hogan Egis Secures 30-Year Contract for M6 Stage 1 Motorway in Sydney

Fulton Hogan Egis has been awarded the Asset Management contract for the M6 Stage 1 Motorway by Transport for NSW (TfNSW).

The M6 is part of the 40-year vision of the NSW Government for transport outcomes in NSW. Stage 1 of the motorway will consist of twin road tunnels, approximately four kilometres in length, linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue in Kogarah.

Fulton Hogan Egis brings world-class asset management practices and proven local experience to the table. Over the 30-year contract, Fulton Hogan Egis will manage all aspects of the asset to maximise whole-of-life outcomes and provide commuters with safe, reliable access and improved connectivity to Sydney’s south.

“Our team is proud to be entrusted with the responsibility of managing the M6 Stage 1 Motorway”, shared Glenn Johnston, Fulton Hogan General Manager of Asset Management.

“This project is about more than building roads; it’s about connecting people with their family, workplace and day-to-day lives which aligns with Fulton Hogan’s vision of creating, connecting and caring for communities.  The M6 represents a significant investment in the future of Sydney’s transportation infrastructure. “

Fulton Hogan Egis will develop systems and collaborate with key project stakeholders to ensure readiness to commence asset management services when the M6 Stage 1 opens.
