Fulton Hogan has strengthened our long-standing partnership with the NRL Cowboys House in Townsville, stepping into a new role as Supporting Partner of the Career Transitions Program.
As part of this commitment, we’ll provide Year 10–12 students with hands-on experiences and insights into careers in infrastructure and civil construction, helping build confidence, capability and clear pathways beyond school.
NRL Cowboys House, managed by the Cowboys Community Foundation, provides a culturally safe, supportive boarding environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from remote communities, with dedicated teams across boarding, education, career transitions, wellbeing, cultural connection, and Year 13, delivering a wraparound model of care.
With more than 100 students graduating since opening in 2017, NRL Cowboys House continues to remove distance as a barrier to education, supporting young people from across North and Far North Queensland to learn, grow and achieve.
A Friend of the House since 2017, this expanded partnership reflects our focus on supporting students into employment, training and further education. It also aligns with our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (2025–2027), reinforcing our commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for First Nations people.
With a strong presence in North Queensland and a local workforce of over 800 people, our investment in NRL Cowboys House is a natural extension of our work to build sustainable communities and long-term career pathways in the regions where we operate.
Fulton Hogan’s Innovate RAP 2025-2027 guides our vision to engage actively, genuinely and respectfully with First Nations communities and peoples across the country, with a strong focus on creating social and economic opportunities that contribute to equality and long-term prosperity.
