Ben was appointed Chief Executive, New Zealand in January 2022, after returning from leading Fulton Hogan’s NSW Infrastructure Services business in Australia. Ben joined Fulton Hogan in 2006, and has worked across the infrastructure sector, including materials supply, major project construction, and management of asset maintenance businesses, in both New Zealand and Australia. Ben is a highly qualified professional engineer, with a proven track record of effective leadership and achievement through collaborating with clients and a solutions-focused approach. Ben holds a number of directorships in both New Zealand and Australia.

Simon was appointed Chief Operating Officer of the New Zealand Infrastructure Services business in July 2021, having spent the previous four years as the General Manager of the company’s North Island operations. A charted professional engineer, Simon is also one of Fulton Hogan’s most experienced and proven road maintenance managers with over 25 years of contracting experience. His significant governance experience includes numerous joint venture board roles. Simon also has a passion for quarrying and manufacturing and has a key role in leading sustainability across the New Zealand business.

Justin was appointed Chief Operating Officer New Zealand Construction in 2021 having previously been Fulton Hogan’s General Manager of New Zealand Construction. His safety-first focus, technical ability, passion for the environment and strong leadership empowers our people to deliver complex high-profile infrastructure and heavy civil projects throughout New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Justin’s vast experience on Alliance contracts is a testament to his commitment to solid stakeholder relationships.

Appointed General Manager of People, Fulton Hogan New Zealand in 2019, Nicola is passionate about providing an environment where people can reach their ultimate potential. With nearing 20 years experience working in human resources and organisational development, along with her pragmatic, yet fresh ways of thinking, has resulted in Nicola’s proven record for driving improvement that promotes a positive culture throughout Fulton Hogan. Committed to delivering results, Nicola has led the development of various leadership programmes for Maori, female and youth, and introduced changes to improve Fulton Hogan’s employee value proposition.

With over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry in various operational and leadership roles, Tim has developed a broad and extensive understanding of the work we do at Fulton Hogan and the risks our people manage every day. Tim first joined Fulton Hogan in 1997, and since 2017 he has led the health, safety, quality and environmental functions for the New Zealand business. He brings a practical approach to the role and a determination to put ‘people at the heart of everything’ we do.

With extensive experience in senior financial roles across a broad range of industries both in New Zealand and abroad, Tim joined the Fulton Hogan team in 2014 as Financial Controller – New Zealand Contracting. In early 2019 he was appointed Chief Financial Officer, New Zealand Contracting where he now oversees the financial management, accounting, budgeting, strategy, procurement and commercial aspects for the company’s New Zealand operations.

A chartered engineer, Bevan joined Fulton Hogan nine years ago following 15 years within an engineering consultancy. As General Manager Engineering Solutions, he governs our successful road maintenance and 3-waters O&M portfolios. Respected by our clients for his collaborative approach to delivery, Bevan leads a technical team of specialists providing asset management, pavement and materials engineering, digital engineering and innovation, annuity contract tendering and performance management.

Hamish joined Fulton Hogan in 2014, and has worked in both Australia and New Zealand across treasury, construction, quarries and joint ventures. Prior to joining the company, he worked in corporate finance for PwC and Deloitte, in both New Zealand and Canada. Hamish is a great grandson of one of Fulton Hogan’s founders, Bob Hogan, and sits of the Fulton Hogan Board, along with a number of the company’s joint ventures. As General Manager Investments, Hamish manages Fulton Hogan’ operational land and buildings, joint venture businesses and other step out activities.

Reece joined Fulton Hogan in late 2019 and was appointed General Counsel for the New Zealand business in November 2022. With over 20 years of experience, including extensive construction law experience gained internationally, Reece brings strong commercial law practice to Fulton Hogan and his team. Reece is also Co-Chair of Fulton Hogan’s Māori Advisory Governance Group, where he has helped develop the organisation's Te Ao Māori strategy, reflecting Te Ao Māori principles into the way Fulton Hogan operates.

Abby returned to Fulton Hogan in January 2023, following a 5-year hiatus where she worked with several non-profits and private organisations to establish and reimagine their brand, marketing, and communication strategies. With over 20 years of experience in communications and marketing, 12 of which within the construction sector, Abby is a passionate and well-respected Marcomms leader, recognised for her ability to demystify business strategy and lead high-performing teams. Abby is responsible for Fulton Hogan New Zealand’s brand, communications and engagement, marketing, and community investment portfolio, working closely with the Australian communications team to drive the Group’s vision and purpose.

Cos re-joined Fulton Hogan in 2017 as Group CEO and was subsequently appointed as Managing Director in 2018. He has over 35 years’ experience in the construction sector across New Zealand and Australia. Cos first joined Fulton Hogan early in his career and spent the next 15 years in a wide variety of management roles and contracting disciplines across New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific. His experience also includes a decade with Downer in senior management roles including as CEO New Zealand. Cos is passionate about safety, building a clear, inspiring strategy and empowering teams to take ownership to deliver.

Graeme has led Fulton Hogan’s land development operations since 2000. He has been pivotal in building the company’s land portfolio and creating new communities for residents and commercial operators in both Christchurch and Auckland. Graeme first joined Fulton Hogan in 1993 in an operation management role, and quickly transitioned into building the company’s land portfolio. Graeme brings a deep understanding of property and the economic environment to his work.

Graeme was appointed Chief Executive, Australia in January 2022, having led the New Zealand business as CEO for the five years prior. He has extensive experience within the civil contracting industry. Graeme joined the company in 2003, and since this time has held senior operational and management roles that have spanned design, construction, materials supply, operations and maintenance undertakings across New Zealand and the Pacific. Graeme holds several directorships and brings fresh thinking and a strong focus on building enduring relationships.

In April 2022 Peter was appointed as CEO of the Australian Infrastructure Services business, having spent the previous 25 years of his career with Fulton Hogan gaining experience in various operational and managerial roles. Most recently, Peter was General Manager of the company’s Victorian and Tasmanian Infrastructure Services operations, with the business significantly growing under his leadership and ability to build strong external collaborative relationships.

Brett was appointed CEO of Australia Construction in July 2022, having previously been Fulton Hogan’s General Manager of Construction for Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia and South Australia. Brett’s 30 plus years’ experience in the building and construction industry has seen him deliver complex projects in all facets of construction, spanning the transport, water, defence and energy sectors across Australia and Indonesia.

Lee has been with Fulton Hogan since the middle of 2012 and in that time has overseen the safe and profitable growth of Fulton Hogan’s Central region construction business where he made significant inroads into the utilities sector, particularly in the areas of communications and water. Since January 2018, Lee has spearheaded our newly formed Australian Utilities business encompassing communications, water, power and gas. Following 18 months in the role of Chief Operating Officer, Utilities, Lee was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in July 2019.

Jules started his career as a consultant in New Zealand and the United Kingdom before joining Fulton Hogan as a project engineer in Auckland. Having spent 25 years immersed within the business, working his way up from frontline engineering roles to executive leadership, today Jules leads our culture initiatives that embed our REAL values and behaviours into our operations.

Graeme was appointed as Company Secretary in 2017, having joined Fulton Hogan in 2001. Graeme has over 30 years' of finance experience at companies such as Unilever Group, Mitsubishi Electric and Fuelquip Services.

An independent director of Fulton Hogan since 2018, Dean was appointed Chairman in January 2020. Dean has over 10 years' of experience as a CEO, most recently leading Silver Fern Farms Limited and prior to this, 12 year in senior roles with global investment bank Deutsche Bank, in New Zealand and Australia. Dean also has significant governance experience through directorships with other companies, including Auckland International Airport and The Warehouse Group.

Peter was appointed to the Fulton Hogan Board in November 2013 as an independent director based in Australia. Peter has over 35 years’ experience in the civil engineering sector, with more than 15 years’ experience leading some of Australia’s largest construction companies including Lend Lease Infrastructure, Bilfinger Berger Australia and Abigroup. Other directorships include SRG Ltd and he was the former Chair of Sydney Motorway Corporation.

Bob is the grandson of one of the company founders, Jules Fulton and has over 30 years’ involvement in the engineering and construction industries, including more than 20 years of senior executive roles at Fulton Hogan. He was appointed to the Board in 2008 as representative of the Fulton cornerstone shareholders. Bob is also a director of a number of Fulton Hogan associates including Fulton Hogan Hiways Fiji, Horokiwi Quarries, Blackhead Quarries Ltd and Port Otago Ltd.

Hamish joined Fulton Hogan in 2014, and has worked in both Australia and New Zealand across treasury, construction, quarries and joint ventures. Prior to joining the company, he worked in corporate finance for PwC and Deloitte, in both New Zealand and Canada. Hamish is a great grandson of one of Fulton Hogan’s founders, Bob Hogan, and also sits on the boards of a number of the company’s joint ventures.

Richard was appointed to the Fulton Hogan Board in February 2017 as an independent director. Richard has extensive experience in taxation, business development and investment banking having worked for Coopers & Lybrand, Carter Holt Harvey Limited and Macquarie Bank prior to returning to New Zealand in 2005. Richard is also a director of Marlborough Airport Ltd, MDC Holdings Ltd and St Andrews Property Group Ltd.

Angela was appointed an independent director to the Fulton Hogan Board in November 2023. As a professional director, Angela currently holds governance roles for Property for Industry, Vital Healthcare Property Trust, Foodstuffs South Island and Bayleys Real Estate. With an extensive commercial career, Angela has held executive roles including Chief Executive of Tramco Group, a large privately owned NZ property investment company, and General Manager of Property Development for Foodstuffs North Island.
