Fulton Hogan

Sydney civil construction and road maintenance

Fulton Hogan creates, connects and cares for communities; building the roads, ports, airports, infrastructure and property which brings people together. We build communities literally from the ground up, starting with our own network of quarries, complemented by our asphalt, emulsion and pre-cast plants. Situated in Rosebery, Fulton Hogan’s Sydney civil construction operations works with local councils, the NSW Transport Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) and federal governments to deliver local and large scale infrastructure projects throughout Sydney, NSW, and the ACT, and this is supported by our road maintenance teams throughout NSW and our ability to produce and supply large quantities of bituminous products.

Civil construction projects in Sydney

Sydney surrounds bays and inlets, and sprawls towards the foothills of the Blue Mountains and beyond, so is dependent on high capacity infrastructure. Contributing to Sydney’s celebrated lifestyle and economic capacity, Sydney civil construction projects by Fulton Hogan include works at Sydney’s ports as well as her road systems.
Sydney and NSW civil construction projects by Fulton Hogan include heavy duty pavement construction at the Port of Newcastle and works at the Botany Bay container facility.

Sydney road maintenance

Road maintenance by Fulton Hogan is backed by all the skills, expertise, and project management that drive our construction projects. From the production and supply of high performance bituminous and asphalt products, to emergency repairs and disaster response and programmed maintenance, from roads, to footpaths, verges, waterways, and drainage, Fulton Hogan has a road maintenance service with proven cost-benefits for cities like Sydney and suburbs.

Our extensive research and development into high quality aggregates allows Fulton Hogan to supply large quantities of bituminous products ideally suited to the customers’ requirements. From our five quarries located around Australia, we also supply a full range of products including bulk fill, specialty sands, asphalt mixes, railway ballast and gabion rock.

Fulton Hogan provides first class road maintenance in rural and urban areas throughout Australia, and our regional teams have strong local knowledge and support community priorities.

Asphalt production

Asphalt supply and laying are fundamental to the upkeep and development of the road network. Fulton Hogan is an industry leader, our laboratories designing products that incorporate the latest pavement surfacing technology.

Fulton Hogan’s asphalt production plant in Sydney produces tailored asphalts designed and manufactured to meet the needs of our clients. Our asphalt supply and laying processes are designed to have minimal impact on the environment. Our emulsion, bitumen and other surfaces are manufactured using the latest low temperature / low emission technologies, saving energy. We supply asphalts which offer optimum performance in even the harshest conditions, and our asphalt laying crews reinforce our green credentials by applying the finished products in an environmentally friendly way.

Our vertically integrated business model means we manage the entire process, from extracting the raw materials used in asphalt production to asphalt laying and maintenance, reducing cost and increasing constancy.
